FORT MILL, S.C. -- Century 21® First Choice is working with The Care Center in Fort Mill this winter to help feed the growing number of people struggling to put a meal on the table. Through Christmas, Century 21 First Choice’s office, 206 Rockmont Drive (at the corner of Gold Hill Road and Rockmont behind the McDonalds) will serve as a collection point for non-perishable food and personal care items. “When we saw the need out there, we wanted to do something to give back to the Fort Mill community that has supported our business for over 30 years,” said Alex Dewey, Realtor at Century 21 First Choice. “Opening our office as a drop-off point will make it easier than ever for people to donate.”

In September, the Care Center gave out 28,707 pounds of food. Non-perishable food (boxed, bagged and canned goods), basic care items (soap, shampoo, laundry detergent) and baby/toddler items (diapers, baby wipes, baby formula) are all needed. Items may be dropped off now through Christmas at Century 21 First Choice Monday-Friday 8:30am-6pm and Saturday 9am-5pm. Items donated by 6pm on November 21 will be in time for Thanksgiving. Items donated by 6pm on December 19 will be in time for Christmas. A complete list of items need is available at www.fortmillcarecenter.org/donate.html
