Raleigh, North Carolina - Angel Lebak, CEO of the virtual assistant firm Assistant Angel, has been invited to speak on social media marketing both at Wake Tech Community College and at the All Women's Social Media Summit.

Lebak will co-lead the Wake Tech "Lunch and Learn" along with marketing strategist Olalah Njenga, CEO of YellowWood Group using "Martin Brossman's Facebook for Business" class materials.

The Wake Tech event is open to the public and will take place between 11:30 and 1:30 on September 30, at 3434 Kildaire Farm Road, at the intersection with Ten-Ten. Bring your own lunch to room 118.

Exactly one month later, on October 30, Lebak will be a panelist at the All Women's Social Media Summit, at the Durham Arts Council. Other panelists include Olalah Njenga, CEO and senior marketing strategist at YellowWood Group, Livvie Matthews, a certified social media marketing specialist and Internet copywriter;  Francina Harrison, a national career, business and networking expert; Leslie Flowers, an expert in personal achievement and success, blogger and mastermind facilitator; and Heather O’Sullivan Canney, a social branding/marketing consultant, and speaker.

Founded by media powerhouse Bev Mahone, the Summit will bring together some of the top social media experts in the Southeast to discuss how to use social media both when starting and growing a business. The Summit will take place between 9:00 a.m. and 4 p.m. at 120 Morris Street in Durham, NC. Tickets are available at Eventbrite under the name "Women's Social Media Summit 2010".

Triangle businesses are increasingly understanding the value of a social media presence to reach their current and potential customers. More and more are taking classes on social media marketing and hiring social media marketing managers to coach and advise them, or implement a strategy. A number of community colleges across the state are teaching classes on the importance of interactive marketing, Wake Tech is one of those. The All Women's Social Media Summit precedes the 3rd annual Internet Summit which will take place November 17 - 18 in Raleigh.
