Hackersmart - a web based software that scans your site daily for malware or badware has upgraded their system. “The hackers of the world are getting smarter and more aggressive, so we have released version 2.0 of Hackersmart.” says Bob Liddle

"Every day thousands of sites are hacked. The downside is you can lose customers and the truly downside is you can be banned by Google." says Bob Liddle "We created a software that will allow you to control all aspects of the scan process and protect your site."

Report: 51 Percent Of Malicious Web Sites Are Hacked -- The number of legitimate Web sites that have been hacked and seeded with code that tries to infect the visitor's PC with malware now exceeds the number of sites specifically created by cyber criminals, according to a report released today. San Diego based security firm Websense says that roughly 51 percent of all the malicious sites it found in the second half of 2007 were legitimate sites that were compromised by attackers. Malicious, compromised Web sites are especially dangerous because they usually already have a steady stream of trusting visitors. Many of these visitors may not have the latest patches for their Web browser of choice.

Hackers particularly penetrate sites that have not been upgraded in awhile, or sites that have a lot of traffic. The value of links that are placed on high traffic sites is high. Hackersmart is a piece of code on your server that will notify you if a change has been made to your site. In this manner the website owner can check that to make sure that malicious code has not been put on their site. For a small monthly fee, the site is scanned daily, and if a change has been made an email is sent to the website owner.  Existing customers do not need to change anything, the update is automatic.

About Hackersmart:

Hackersmart was started because sites are being hacked daily, and unless you scan your code every day, you will not know. Hackersmart will give you the opportunity to make corrections or updates to your site. Sites with Page Rank of 3 or higher are especially vulnerable to hackers as they want to install links on your site. For more information go to www.hackersmart.com or email hacked@hackersmart.com
