RALEIGH, N.C. – March 15, 2011 – At a time when demand for its services has never been so great, InterAct is debuting a new signature event – HOOPLA benefiting InterAct! Designed to raise critically needed funds, Hoopla is on the last Friday in March at Fosters American Grille in Cameron Village (Friday, March 25, 2011). Starting at 9:00, guests will enjoy Sweet 16 games, live music performed by Spare Change, a silent auction and a raffle drawing.

InterAct opens doors to a new future and empowers families to make choices – choices that can lead to happier, healthier lives. Hurting families are reaching out like never before.

Just in the past year, the need for InterAct’s services has tripled. Last year, seven families walked through our doors each day seeking help…Today, it’s 23 families daily. Last year, 27 calls were received by counselors on our crisis lines… Today, it’s 47 calls daily. Help us to help them.
