J.D. Gidley, Financial Advisor, with Ameriprise Financial has earned his Chartered Financial Consultant® designation from The American College, Bryn Mawr, PA.
Candidates for the ChFC® designation must complete a minimum of eight courses and 16 hours of supervised examinations. They must also fulfill stringent experience and ethics requirements. Over 45,000 individuals have been awarded the designation since its inception in 1982.
Individuals who earn a ChFC® can provide expert advice in a broad range of financial topics including financial planning, wealth accumulation, estate planning, life and health insurance, investments and retirement planning.
J.D. Gidley has been helping clients reach their financial goals since he started his career in 2000. He is a graduate of North Carolina State University where he majored in Business Management. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner and a member of the Financial Planning Association. J.D. is also active in the Raleigh Chamber of Commerce and a supporter of Strike for Survival.
