The Jade Academy, a health therapies training center on the island of Nevis in the Caribbean, has appointed Raleigh, North Carolina based Licensed Cosmetologist, Phyllis Smith, as a new Assistant Dean. In this position, Ms. Smith will be leading seminars and trainings at Jade Academy events throughout the US.
Phyllis Smith who has been in cosmetology for years, met Dr. Charles McWilliams, the founder of the Jade Academy (http://www.jadeacademy.org) at a seminar, and began to study with him directly. Her own experience with the effectiveness of the Jade techniques in treating post-surgical sagging and other symptoms fueled her passion for Dr. McWilliams' work.
Ms. Smith has became certified to perform the techniques in her own skin care practice at A Younger You (http://www.ayoungeryounc.com/) and to teach seminars offered by the Academy.
"Once we saw Phyllis' passion and talent, it was an easy decision to bring her on staff," Dr. McWilliams said of Ms. Smith's new Assistant Dean position. As medical director of the Jade Academy, Dr. Charles McWilliams, has been teaching health therapy techniques for three decades.
When asked how she felt about her appointment Ms. Smith answered: "I am so proud to be a part of Dr. McWilliams' work and especially to help train others in this state-of-the-art ground-breaking technology!"
Phyllis Smith is a Licensed Cosmetologist in North Carolina who has been in the field for over thirty years. She practices facial rejuvenation through non-surgical techniques in Raleigh, NC as learned through the Jade Academy. Smith has recently been appointed Assistant Dean for the Jade Academy, which will have her teaching and training at US events, in addition to seeing her own clients at A Younger You (NC).
