USA Baseball selected Catering by Design as their catering team for hundreds of lunches, snacks and dinners. USA Baseball's National Training Complex is located in Cary, NC, and is the site of collegiate and national training and tryouts this summer.
Catering by Design's owner, Chef Greg Lewis spoke with pride about being chosen. "We're very excited to have been chosen to be the sole caterer for USA Baseball's National Training Complex in Cary. It is a thrill to watch the young men and women compete for the US Olympics and Professional Baseball opportunities."
Jenn Hernley, the sales manager at Catering by Design, said, "Their needs were very different from standard catering events, these are young athletes working out." Jenn asked her teenage son to weigh in on the food choices.
Menus included Italian food, North Carolina BBQ, and Southern Fried Chicken to name a few. Snacks have included Gatorade, fresh fruit and a granola bar or chips.
